Guests will hear Gerald open the proceedings following the complimentary Breakfast Networking session in the Shawbrook Bank Conference Theatre.
Back in 1991, when he was CEO of the family jewellery chain Ratners, Gerald famously made disparaging comments about its products, which led to the company’s value plummeting, despite it recording a profit of £120m in 1990.
Straight after Gerald’s introductory speech, the FP Show will hold the National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers’ (NACFB) annual general meeting.
Guests can expect to see 90 exhibitors from all areas of the financial services industry at the show, including:

Commenting at last year’s event, D'mitri Zaprzala, head of sales at Octopus Property, said: "You only have to look around to see every major lender is here and pretty much every major broker is here, either with a stand or seeing other lenders that are here...
“It's the one that people want to be at. It's the Oscars of the trade shows in our industry."
While Neil Molyneux, head of sales and marketing at Masthaven Finance, added: "Not only did we meet existing introducers, but we also made what appears to be extremely useful introductions with several brokers discussing specific cases they wish to place with us."
