Aldermore to launch retention procuration fees

Specialist lender Aldermore has announced it is to launch a retention procuration fee for brokers.

From 3rd April 2017, procuration fees will be available to brokers on completion of product transfers for existing Aldermore customers on to one of its loyalty mortgages.

The procuration fee is 0.3% and is available on the full range of loyalty mortgages, including for residential owner-occupied and standard buy-to-let customers.

Charles McDowell, commercial director at Aldermore, said: “Our proposition puts brokers at its heart.

“Brokers provide an indispensable service to their customers by giving them the right advice and ensuring the right customer outcome.

“I am delighted that we can give brokers the recognition they deserve by offering retention procuration fees.”

Accord Mortgages recently announced a similar move extending its procuration fees pilot scheme on residential mortgages.

Last week, Aldermore announced it had launched new two-year fixed rates for limited company buy-to-let mortgages.
