The Mortgage Hut launches bridging and commercial finance arm

The Mortgage Hut has launched a new bridging and commercial finance arm as it looks to meet a growing demand from customers requiring complex property loans.

The specialist broker’s bridging and commercial division will offer a range of bespoke loans to both private and commercial clients for property acquisitions and refinancing property redevelopment.

The Mortgage Hut added that it would be handling complex deals, many of which would be turned down by mainstream lenders.

Chris Schutrups, group managing director of the Mortgage Hut (pictured above), said it can offer property finance that doesn’t fit the criteria of national lenders.

“Over the past six weeks, we have funded the refinancing of a large BTL portfolio, the acquisition of a care home and the purchase of a dental practice.

“These cases have featured higher loans to value and have been slightly complex in nature.”

With offices across the South of England, the Mortgage Hut has reported a 110% year-on-year growth and employs 50 staff.

“There are many businesses out there that are struggling to secure finance, as they simply don’t tick the right boxes,” added Chris.

“However, they can be highly profitable and we are able to package bespoke deals which help them to develop and grow their business.”
