Octopus Choice generates £5m for investors

Octopus Choice – the P2P lending product distributed by Octopus Investments – has generated over £5m in interest for its investors since it launched in 2016.

It has now funded over 400 loans and seen £200m invested, earning investors collective returns of more than £5m.

Sam Handfield-Jones, head of Octopus Choice (pictured above), said that it was delighted to have reached this milestone after launching the product barely two years ago.

“It seems to have really struck a chord with investors who want to diversify their portfolio or target an attractive yield without the ups and downs of the stock market, or who are looking for an alternative way to access the property market, without the cost and hassle of buy-to-let.”

Octopus Choice invests 5% in each loan.

Investors get their initial investment returned first and also receive any interest owed before Octopus receives any.
