Nigel will be responsible for strengthening relationships in the South East, focusing on asset-based lending and invoice discounting.
He joins from Shawbrook Bank, where he served as a relationship director.
Before that, he worked at BNP Paribas Commercial Finance UK and HSBC Invoice Finance.
IGF has now grown its ABL sales team by 50% in the last 12 months.
It has also added Bradley Shackleton to its sales team in the North West.

Jon Hughes, commercial director of asset-based lending at IGF (pictured above), said: “More companies are continuing to adopt alternative finance to achieve growth without diluting equity.
