Whitehall Capital completes bridging loan for £1.4m mixed-use scheme

Whitehall Capital has granted a £714,000 loan for a mixed-use scheme valued at £1.4m in just five days.

The property comprises 30 flats and a commercial ground floor in Darlington, County Durham.

Whitehall Capital has deemed the risk profile for the property to be moderate/low.

The loan has a term of 12 months, while covenants dictate that the LTV ratio must not exceed 65%.

Anthony Bodenstein, CEO at Whitehall Capital (pictured above), said: “I’d like to extend my gratitude to my extremely efficient team that was able to complete the loan in just five days, with special thanks again to Avi Barr and Nishta Camiah from Lawrence Stephens Solicitors, who worked extremely hard to get the deal closed so quickly.

“As a sub-fund of Amram Capital, we have access to a readily available pool of capital and, therefore, our turnaround time for loans is much shorter than our competitors.”

This news follows Whitehall Capital’s recent commitment to provide a £750,000 bridging loan for a portfolio of flats in Birmingham.
