The invitation-only roundtable — which is supported by Castle Trust and Oblix Capital — will be held on Monday 30th September at Watson Farley & Williams’ offices at 15 Appold Street, London.
The agenda will include discussions on why hybrid products have become so popular in the bridging sector, whether we expect more lenders to offer medium-term money and how important it is for brokers to help shape new lending products to fill market gaps.
- B&C roundtable: surviving a heated bridging market and the rise of regional lending
- B&C roundtable: BTL lender departures, hybrid products and utopian underwriters
- B&C roundtable: Bridging market standards, network involvement and attracting quality brokers
Marcus Dussard, director of sales at Castle Trust; and Andy Reid, director — intermediary and network at Oblix Capital; will be joined by Ranjeev Kumar, partner at Watson Farley & Williams.
Also in attendance will be four specialist finance brokers: Lucy Barrett, managing director at Vantage Finance; Charlotte Stanford, commercial and bridging specialist at Clever Lending; Danny Robinson, director of commercial at Grey Matters Specialist Lending; and Sam O’Neill, senior finance broker at Clifton Private Finance.
The roundtable will be chaired by Bridging & Commercial’s editor Beth Fisher.
The attendees will also discuss how technology can support the effectiveness of hybrid products and the importance of separating underwriting for different aspects of this type of offering.
The 45-minute session will be filmed and uploaded as a 10-minute highlights reel on Bridging & Commercial in October on our brand new Roundtables page.
Bridging & Commercial will be continuing its series of filmed roundtable sessions in October 2019 and February, April, May, September and October 2020.
