James has more than 12 years of experience in the financial service industry, having previously worked at Santander and Virgin Money.
In his new role, James will develop relationships with new borrowers and commercial brokers as part of YBS’s wider national growth plans.
James will be working from home to begin with, but will be based at the YBS commercial office in Birmingham when the current restrictions are lifted.

“I’m delighted to be joining YBS Commercial Mortgages and am excited by the commitment the organisation has made to the region,” said James.
“I’m looking forward to working with investors and businesses in the Midlands,” he added.
John Little, regional director at YBS Commercial Mortgages in the Midlands, said: “Even though we are working remotely at present, I am sure that he will quickly establish YBS Commercial Mortgages as an active lender in the Midlands.”
