Pluto appoints regional lending director in push to extend lending in the north

Pluto Finance has appointed Evan Griffin (pictured above) as a lending director, making him the lender’s first regional lead.

Evan’s new role will be focused on the areas north of Nottingham, supporting local developers and brokers in these regions with development and bridging loans.

He joins from Hampshire Trust Bank, where he spent over two years as lending director.

Evan formerly worked across treasury, commercial banking and the northern real estate market at Lloyds Bank, before moving to United Trust Bank, where he specialised in development lending.

“It’s great to be joining Pluto Finance, a best-in-class platform able to lend up to, and above, the challenger banks in terms of debt quantum and leverage,” said Evan.

Justin Faiz, partner at Pluto Finance, commented: “Residential development in the north of the UK is expanding rapidly, and we are pleased to now be able to extend our lending into this region.

“Having worked in the northern real estate market for the past eight years, Evan is the perfect candidate to push Pluto’s work in this area.”

Pluto Finance also recently hired John O’Donnell as an additional lending director; he also joined from Hampshire Trust Bank.
