The deal is expected to be completed on 1st October and the new firm, which will continue to be known as BBS Law (incorporating OGR Stock Denton), will have around 60 lawyers working out of the offices in Manchester, the City and north west London.
The acquisition will enable BBS Law to further expand its services, particularly as OGR Stock Denton specialises in private client and trust work in addition to commercial and residential property, employment law, family law and litigation.
Dov Black, managing partner at BBS Law (pictured above, left), said the firm was really excited by the expansion.
Avi Barr, head of the BBS Law London office, added: “Over the last couple of years, BBS Law has made a very strong impression, particularly within the secured lending and property sectors.

“We are confident that the acquisition of OGR Stock Denton will give us even greater depth and expertise within these areas, enabling us to count ourselves within the top echelon of firms handling secured lending and property work in London.”
Richard Denton, managing partner at OGR Stock Denton (right), commented: “Joining BBS Law is an exciting opportunity for our partners, staff and clients, as it increases the quality and depth of legal services we can offer.
“There is a great synergy between the types of work that both firms do and the similar cultures and outlooks that we encourage.
“I believe that with the combined experience and reputations of BBS and OGR Stock Denton, this step is a compelling opportunity which we had no hesitation in taking."
