David joins Tandem has as chief financial officer (CFO), while Wahid joins as chief risk officer (CRO).
Both will also serve as members of Tandem’s executive committee.
Tandem said the arrivals underscore its continued momentum and growth as one of the UK’s ‘original’ digital challenger banks.
David spent eight years as CFO at Atom Bank and previously held senior positions at Britannia Building Society, Co-Op Bank, and Bank of Ireland.
Wahid, meanwhile, brings two decades of risk management experience to Tandem.

His career has seen him spend time at Barclays, RBS, Al Rayan Bank, and the Prudential Regulation Authority.
The announcement follows the appointment of Paul Pester as chairman in June, and recent news that deputy CEO Alex Mollart will step up shortly to become CEO.
