Stephen brings more than 35 years of experience to the position having started his career as a district agent and then sales manager for insurance company Prudential.

He went on to a number of high-level positions, senior roles and directorships including his role as head of sales, and later commercial director for First 4 Bridging — which later became Envelop — prior to this he was head of training and development at The Buy to Let Business.

In his new role Stephen will work closely with self-employed brokers in the region to develop their business plans, explore growth opportunities and support them with their own recruitment, as well as connect brokers with in-house training, marketing and compliance support.

Commenting on his appointment, Stephen said: “Even at this early stage, it is clear that Just Mortgages places a high level of importance on the support offered to its self-employed brokers.
