The investor is understood to have paid around £70m for the 62,777 sq ft building at 1-2 Hanover Square, W1.
The block, which has been home to several Condé Nast publications, including Vogue, for decades, is moving staff to its Adelphi office on John St Adam Street, WC2.

The deal was one of more than £1bn of London office deals set to complete before the end of 2023.
Josh Lawrence, CEO at Global Holdings Management Group UK, said the acquisition of the “iconic property, an important and prominent building on one of London’s most prestigious squares” was a “tremendous addition” to its extensive real estate portfolio.
Global Holdings will rebrand the building as 1 Hanover Square.
