Century appoints new head of lending amid funding line extension




Century Capital has appointed Kynan Benjamin (pictured above), as its new head of lending amid the extension of its primary funding line.

Kynan previously held roles at Lendinvest, Glenhawk, and most recently as director of credit at Reim Capital  — since beginning his career in property finance as an underwriter, he has now lent over £500m throughout the course of his career.

In his new position, Kynan will be responsible for spearheading the lending division, overseeing sustainable growth, and fostering client-relationship initiatives.

Luke Navin, who previously led the lending department will now take on a new role as managing director after overseeing the company’s loan book over the last three to four years — his knowledge and experience has been pivotal in maintaining funding relationships and driving expansion initiatives said Century.


The company has also just renewed its principle funding line for the next two years, with the company lending an excess of £25m in capital last month.
