SDKA managing director helps raise money for four charities cycling across Ireland

Kunal Mehta, managing director of SDKA, recently completed a 275 km cycling journey over three days across Ireland to raise funds for four charities.

The charities the money was raised for were Seashell Trust, Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, Leukaemia Care UK, and Cancer Research UK.

Kunal is a member of The Blazing Saddles, a cycling group formed during the height of the first lockdown in 2020.

The group of friends started as novice cyclists looking to stay connected and fit and transformed into the members steadily increasing their cycling distances in the Cheshire countryside and annual rides to raise vital funds for various charities.

This ride was the fourth of the group, raising £125,000 for charity so far.

Their latest effort across Ireland saw the team land in Cork and finish the three day challenge in Limerick.

Commenting on the cycle, Kunal said: "Training for this cycling challenge has been incredibly tough, but the dedication and camaraderie of this fantastic group of friends keep us going.

“We're raising funds for four amazing charities, the remarkable work these organisations do inspires us every day. The support and donations we receive mean the world to us and will make a huge difference. Thank you!"
