Currently, Philip serves as the firm’s chief lending officer, however he will be relocating back to Sheffield to be nearer to family — he will continue to support the company for the near future, assisting with deal execution and aiding the team during the transition.
Meanwhile, the firm has made a series of internal promotions, including the appointment of Nicholas Duke to director of finance and operations — he has been at the company for two and a half years and has recently managed a transformational technology project, completing it on time and within a tight budget.
Ed Blundell has been promoted to senior underwriter, after joining Avamore over five years ago as an analyst, while Tom Genner has also been promoted to associate within the investor relations team.
D'mitri Zaprzala, CEO at Avamore, said: "I am thrilled with the team's progression over the last six months, and these internal promotions are fully deserved.
“The knowledge and dedication these individuals show daily are inspiring, and we will continue to focus on promoting from within whenever we can. Congratulations to them all.
“Sadly, we must say goodbye to Philip Gould. In the last five years, he has been a key part of the team here at Avamore, he will be around for a while yet and myself and the team wish him the all the best for the future.”
