George brings his experience within the specialist mortgage sector, joining from VIBE Finance.
His appointment reflects the academy’s renewed focus on education for brokers operating in complex areas of property finance.
Founded by Kim McGinley, the academy was created to support mortgage and property professionals looking to expand their knowledge and confidence in specialist lending.
Speaking about the announcement, Kim said: “George is one of the most well-respected brokers in the specialist space.
“He brings not only technical brilliance, but also a natural ability to educate in a way that is clear, grounded, and genuinely useful.

“I’m absolutely delighted to welcome him as director as we reopen the doors to the Specialist Finance Academy.”
The relaunched academy will include updated training materials, interactive masterclasses, and a practical learning environment designed to help brokers write more complex cases with confidence.

The academy will officially reopen to new members on 2nd July 2025.
