Aldermore completes £13m commercial mortgage for office portfolio expansion

Aldermore Bank has strengthened its relationship with Mantle Group, providing a £13m commercial mortgage facility to support the company’s office portfolio across the South East and eastern England.

The funding is structured across two facilities for entities within the wider Mantle Group, an Aldermore customer since 2014.

Mantle Group said it is now well positioned to pursue new opportunities, including five office schemes currently under review across the South East and around Stansted Airport.

Azfar Rizvi, commercial director of commercial real estate (CRE) at Aldermore, commented: “Mantle Group is a great example of how we build long-term partnerships by listening closely to their ambitions and tailoring solutions that support their growth.

“We’re proud to have worked alongside Mantle for more than a decade, and this latest facility reflects not only the strength of its portfolio but also our commitment to backing clients who put sustainability and occupier experience at the centre of their business.

“We look forward to continuing this journey together as the firm expands across the region.”

Michael Graham, CRE BDM at Aldermore, said: “This refinance demonstrates how Aldermore partners with long-standing clients to deliver bespoke funding solutions.

“By enhancing Mantle Group’s existing facilities and creating a platform for future expansion, we’re helping it to deliver flexible workspaces that meet evolving market needs.

“It’s inspiring to work with a business that shares our commitment to innovation, and we’re excited to support its next phase of development.”

Guy Baker, CEO at Mantle Group, added: “Aldermore has been a trusted funding partner for many years, and its support has been instrumental in helping us grow and enhance our portfolio.

“This refinance enables us to continue investing in high-quality, flexible office environments while accelerating our ESG ambitions, from zero-waste goals to renewable energy and intelligent building systems.”
