A specialist lender has announced that it is looking for a new Business Development Manager to oversee its business relationships on a national scale.

Regentsmead, the specialist development lender, has enjoyed a busy first six months in 2013 and is searching for a new BDM to help direct a rapidly expanding team.

The role allows for plenty of opportunities to meet and present Regentsmead as a company -alongside its leading development products - to prospective brokers and clients.

In addition, the firm are looking for someone to embrace the spirit of innovation that has taken Regentsmead from strength to strength recently, as at home on twitter as they are on the road.

The job will entail cultivating previously developed relationships and seizing all and any opportunities to form new ones.

Attendance at industry events and networking opportunities are essential to making instant additions to the applicant’s already established array of industry contacts.

Regentsmead requests that applicants:

- Are hungry, tenacious and determined to drive the business forward;
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work on their own and be a team player;
- Have an established network of contacts in the industry to call upon; and
- Possess the ability to be passionate about and sell an excellent product.

At the close of 2012, Regentsmead reported that it had doubled the size of its loan book and looks set to carry forward the same rate of growth into the New Year.

The firm has cited increase communication as a key priority going forward, recently introducing free marketing tools to help over 200 brokers.

Regentsmead also hosted a highly successful seminar in conjunction with the NACFB in May, inviting brokers and professional borrowers to hear from a number of the firm’s closest partners.

Russell Martin, Managing Director at Finance 4 Business, spoke on the day. He said: “It was encouraging to see the amount of brokers keen to learn more about this growing sector of finance and I’m sure it will yield more deals for the Regentsmead team, which they richly deserve.”

Speaking about the new role, James Bloom, Chief Executive at the lender, said: “We are just scratching the surface of what we can achieve, and it seems that now is the perfect time to expand and take on a new BDM.”

If you believe that this could be you, apply in confidence to James directly at [email protected].
