After 18 years at UTB, Roger is taking on a mentoring and product development role.
Rob Sherr will be taking over Roger’s position as Head of Credit, bringing with him nearly 40 years’ experience in banking, including a spell at Coutts & Co, and more recently at Bank Leumi, where he was head of credit risk management.

Rob Sherr, Chief Credit Officer
Graham Davin, Chief Executive Officer, said he would like to thank Roger on behalf of the UTB team for his contribution to the bank’s success.
“Roger has been instrumental in developing United Trust Bank ever since he, Harley and I completed the MBO of the bank in 2003,” said Graham.
“I am also very happy that, although Roger is keen to spend more time with his family, he has agreed to continue working with the bank so as to mentor some of our staff and assist in new product development.”
Graham said Rob will be managing all aspects of UTB’s credit risk, as well as ensuring that the bank has the correct systems in place to continue to develop the business whilst maintaining a strong credit position.
“He brings considerable experience gained over a successful and varied banking career and this will be very beneficial to the bank as it continues to grow its business with new products in new sectors,” Graham added.
Rob said UTB is an ambitious and innovative bank with a hugely capable leadership team and exciting plans for the future.
“I will enjoy working closely with Graham Davin and Harley Kagan as they continue to grow UTB’s market share and develop into new sectors,” said Rob.
“United Trust Bank has established a reputation for providing excellent service to its brokers and borrowers, and my aim is to maintain our flexible and pragmatic approach to lending whilst ensuring that our credit decisions are based on solid information and sound judgement.”
