div>The commercial division of Shawbrook Bank has announced the appointment of a new business development manager.
Krissy Salmon joins after 11 years at the Yorkshire Building Society.
She will be based in the Southwest, providing support for brokers in the region and working with the commercial team to ensure the application through to completion process is as efficient as possible.
“After speaking to colleagues and others in the market, I was first attracted by Shawbrook’s burgeoning reputation as a pragmatic lender that marries traditional customer-first values with innovative products,” said Krissy.
“When this opportunity arose, it was a no-brainer for me; I can’t wait to get started, developing close ties with our broker partners in the Southwest and bringing Shawbrook products to the customers who’ll benefit from our expert approach.”
Emma Cox, Head of Sales for Shawbrook Commercial, said she had no doubt that Krissy would be an energising addition to its team.
“The Southwest has been an underappreciated area of the country with regard to property investment and, considering her experience and broker contacts in the region, Krissy is ideally placed to expand the bank’s reach in this promising market,” said Emma.
Shawbrook recently completed its first regulated bridging mortgage deal and will be sponsoring the networking hub at this week’s Finance Professional Show.
