The two-time Grand Slam winner and current world number two has invested an undisclosed sum in London-based Shavekit and 3D printing company MyMiniFactory.
Shavekit, which offers customers three to five top quality razors for a monthly subscription, has already exceeded its target of £150,000, while MyMiniFactory, which describes itself as the ‘YouTube of 3D Printing’, has raised £150,000 more than its £500,000 target.
Andy, who went into partnership with Seedrs in June and invested in three SMEs in August, said supporting British entrepreneurs is important to him, especially those who are creating new businesses.
“These entrepreneurs are focused and dedicated to their businesses and I’m excited to have invested in their vision and hard work,” said Andy.
“While these investments on Seedrs are outside my core area of interest, these businesses are driven by passionate entrepreneurs, helping me build a broad portfolio of investments on the Seedrs platform, which I think is an important approach.”
