p>Amicus has recruited the services of two directors from bridging lender Fincorp…
Matthew Anderson and Nigel Alexander will become Regional Directors at the award-winning London-based short term lender.
The pair are set to commence their new roles in the New Year.
Commenting on the move, Matthew said the decision to leave Fincorp was a “difficult” one having worked there for 12 years.
“I will remain a close friend with (Managing Director) Ronnie, but Nigel and I both see the opportunity that the Amicus Group expansion plans offer us as too good a career move to miss,” Matthew said.
Nigel added: “The potential that Amicus has to grow its business now that it has such strong funding lines and a reputation for being the lender that others always keep in their sights was a temptation too hard to resist.
“Both Matthew and I are really looking forward to working with Keith and the team and contributing to the continued growth and diversification plans of the Amicus Group in 2016.”
Keith Aldridge, MD of Amicus, said the appointments further reinforced the group’s commitment to be a leading force in the short term lending market.
“We are delighted that we have been able to convince two stalwarts of the sector, who have over 60 years’ lending experience between them, that they will play a vital role in our expansion plans,” Keith added.
Amicus recently recruited ex-Just Bridging director Mark Harrison to become its Relationship Manager.
It also revealed the rebrand of Mayfair Bridging, in line with the Amicus brand, after acquiring the Preston-based lender in November last year.
Amicus currently enjoys a 12.5% market share with over £240m advanced annually.
