Borro has appointed a new senior business development director.
Maria Magnussen will join the lender on 7th March and has more than 20 years’ experience in the property lending market, including spells at Dragonfly Property Finance, SPF and John Charcol.
Claire Barrington-Jones, Group Sales Director, said: "When we added property lending to our product suite we promised we would bring on board experts to help us grow in this market."
"Maria's experience as both a lender and broker means she has a real understanding of what it takes to be successful from all angles. We know she will help us develop relationships we already have in place and will be an asset to the strong Borro team."
Maria spent 13 years at SPF before joining Dragonfly in 2013 as Business Development Manager, where she stayed until the end of last year.
Maria said: "I am delighted to be joining Borro and I [will be looking to] help grow an exciting bridging offering in the market.
“Borro is already hugely successful in the luxury asset lending market and has a reputation for real speed and exceptional service.
“Creating a property portfolio has been an organic extension for them and they have already delivered some impressive numbers in a short time.
“I hope my experience can help take the team to the next level and I’m looking forward to being able to offer partners even more options to make things happen for their clients.”
