Buy-to-let (BTL) lender Foundation Home Loans (FHL) has announced the appointment of Joanna Elton as regional account manager for the North of England.
Joanna joins FHL from Mortgage Intelligence, where she was a business development manager.
Joanna will be responsible for relationships with FHL’s distribution partners and will work under the leadership of Paul Brett, business development director at FHL.
Joanna started her career at Mortgage Trust as a new business administrator before becoming an account manager when the company was rebranded as First Active.
Her other industry experiences include time at Kensington Mortgages, Scottish Life Mortgages, Mortgage Next, Sun Life, London & Colonial and Curtis Banks.
Paul commented: “Joanna brings with her a strong background in business development and relationship management and we are delighted to have her on board.
“Her role will be to enhance existing distribution partner relationships as well as maximise the opportunities for new business and develop fresh sources.
“We have identified that the BTL market in the North of England holds particular opportunities for landlords and their advisers.
“Joanna is an ideal ambassador for FHL’s BTL proposition.”
This appointment comes three months after FHL appointed Joela Jenvey as account manager for the West and South West region.
