The sum was raised via 148 campaigns – 33 of which raised £1m-plus.
Highlights for Crowdcube in 2017 included £2.5m raised by mobile-only bank Monzo, £1.92m raised by healthy food company Mindful Chef and £1.26m raised by the premium styling service for men company the Chapar Limited.
