Brian previously worked at Hope Capital, where he served as its head of business development.
In his new role, he will help to develop the Exchange platform at Racefields, which allows property professionals and lenders to deal directly with each other.
“I have known Brian for over 20 years as [a] broker, lender and work colleague,” said David Gammond, chairman at Racefields.

“I hold him in extremely high regard.”
Brian added: “David and I go back a very long time and I have always found him to be innovative and market leading.
“The bridging market is highly competitive and Racefields offers both the borrower and lender a huge opportunity to conclude deals quickly and cost effectively.
“I am excited by the opportunity to be involved in this exciting venture and I am looking forward to working with David and the team.”
Racefields is currently updating the Exchange to include a live chat box and progress reports that will be sent out to borrowers and lenders in real-time.
In addition, it is upgrading the application files that lenders can review on the platform to become “underwriter ready”.
Racefields expects that while this will reduce the number of applications on the Exchange in the short term, it will greatly improve the quality of them.
David stated that the company used quantitative data analysis, social media and content marketing to find borrowers and lenders.
“We have recently deployed an AI system to seek out property lending opportunities.
“However, there will always be a place in our business for the experienced professional.
“Brian is that professional and we are lucky to have him join the team.
“Working with Brian will greatly improve the Exchange, especially with how we serve our customers.”
