BDMs play musical chairs with top London lenders

.

This week there has been significant movement among the BDMs of top London lenders.

As bridging specialist Cheval announces the appointment of two new BDMs, one of which we can name as Tiuta’s former Regional Account manager, Gordon Rae, it also bids farewell to its National Sales Manager, Gareth Lewis, who will now join Tiuta.

Cheval noted that the appointment of Gordon Rae and Neil Molyneux as new BDMs follows the recent significant cash injection that it received from its new shareholders in February this year.

Gavin Diamond, Finance Director at Cheval said: “These appointments demonstrate our commitment to increasing our lending volumes and reinforces our position as offering the best service within the bridging sector.”

Cheval’s new employees have substantial experience within the sector. Prior to his most recent position as Regional Account Manager at Tiuta plc, Gordon Rae was National Sales Manager for GMAC RFC, where he spent 10 years in various positions within mortgage sales.

Neil Molyneux joins from estate agency group Sequence UK Ltd, where he was Mortgage Services Sales Manager for the Fox & Sons and Allen & Harris brands.  He previously worked for Lehmann Brothers as Regional Account Manager within the Southern Pacific brand, as Regional Director for Forces Financial and held various positions within the Advance Finance Group.

In addition, Mr Molyneux brings with him a proven ability to ‘think outside the box’. Two months ago, whilst searching for a job, he took a bold approach to self-marketing by rebranding his c.v in the style of a kit-kat.

Mr Molyneux commented that he even sent out chocolate bars to bolster his applications.

Gavin Diamond said: “We are delighted that Neil and Gordon have joined our team.  They are both high profile and experienced individuals with proven track records in mortgage sales.  These appointments will help us to build on a successful 2011 to date, and reflect not only our appetite to lend but also our commitment to supporting the intermediary market.”

Gareth Lewis told B&C: "After working at Cheval for seven years, I felt that it was the right time to face a new challenge.

"I wish Cheval the best of luck with their future ventures."

Gavin Diamond, and the rest of the team at Cheval, have also wished Gareth Lewis “every success in his new role”.
