The firm will now have semi-exclusive access to West One’s range of regulated first charge mortgage products.
West One recently launched their first range of residential mortgages through a limited panel of specialist distributors.
The new range is open to a wide ranger of borrowers, including first-time buyers, home movers and remortgage clients, as well as borrowers with unencumbered properties.
Specialist Hub’s existing lending portfolio includes commercial and semi-commercial, regulated and unregulated bridging, specialist buy-to-let, and residential first and second charge mortgages.
Tony Sutton, managing director at Specialist Hub, said: “We are thrilled to now have packager status for West One’s regulated first charge products, as well as semi-exclusive access to these.

“This product range meets the needs of clients underserved by the high street.
“It will also assist those who would benefit from a more bespoke approach to underwriting, including those with a less than optimum credit score or who may have some adverse credit.”
Marie Grundy, managing director for residential mortgages and second charges at West One, added: “We are delighted to be offering our range of residential mortgage products through the highly experienced team at Specialist Hub.
“They can now provide intermediaries access to our entire range of West One lending products including bridging, development finance, BTL and second charge mortgages.
“Their expertise in the specialist lending market will enable more borrowers to access the most suitable product to meet their circumstances at a time when borrowers can really benefit from a more holistic advice service to identify the right product to meet their needs."
