ThinCats appoints new associate director in Northwest business development team

ThinCats has appointed Andrew Sanders (pictured above), as associate director in its Northwest business development team.

Andrew will work alongside existing business development directors Mike Dinnell and Michelle Heptinstall from ThinCats’ Manchester office.

He joins the finance provider from the corporate finance (debt advisory) team at EY, where he provided advice on a range of debt financing transactions, supporting clients across the credit market spectrum in securing working capital funding, growth financing, acquisition funding, and leveraged financing.

Andrew commented: “I’m delighted to be joining ThinCats at such an exciting time in its development.

“In response to increasing demand it has quickly established a significant hub in the Northwest covering origination, credit, transaction management and relationship management.

“I look forward to supporting many more mid-sized SMEs in the region through ThinCats’ bespoke funding proposition.”

Mike Hackett, head of business development at ThinCats, added: “Andrew is a great addition to the team and is evidence of our continued commitment to high-growth businesses in the Northwest.

“With the upcoming arrival of Simon Dixon next month — who will lead business development in the regions — I believe we have one of the strongest teams in the industry.”
