GB Bank makes raft of appointments

GB Bank has made a series of appointments, aimed at bolstering its lending and completions teams.

The company has brought on board six new team members in recent weeks, including three additions to the lending and completions teams, as it continues a major recruitment drive with plans to almost double its current workforce within the next year.

Jake Baker joins as a relationship manager, bringing with him 10 years of experience in real estate finance, working primarily in brokerage with high-net-worth individuals on BTL and bridging and commercial mortgages.

Amit Sood joins as head of loan completions with previous experience in loan processing, compliance, new customer acquisition and team management.

Kerry Carter joins the bank as loans completion officer having previously worked for Aldermore Bank as a property development support officer for just over two and a half years.

Stephen Lancaster, CEO at GB Bank, said: “We’re delighted to welcome on board such talented and experienced people as we set our sights on a major expansion of our lending solutions.

“Jake, Amit and Kerry bring a wide array of skills to the business and I’ve no doubt that our customers will feel the benefit of their recruitment in the weeks and months ahead as we rapidly expand our lending portfolio across the UK and further build our reputation of providing the right financial solutions with outstanding customer service.”
