Simon carries over 30 years of experience to the position, including time spent owning and managing his own second charge and bridging broker.
He now joins REIM after a two-year hiatus from the industry.
In his new role, Simon will be responsible for managing the existing sales team and implementing a new sales strategy for a more focussed approach with a view to improving REIM’s regional presence and developing their broker network.
He will also be responsible for the firm’s marketing strategy and will insist in the development of the company’s product range.

Commenting on his new position, Simon said: “having had over 30 years’ experience in this industry it would have taken something exciting to entice me out of my two-year hiatus, I’ve known Kunal and Amar for some years and have tracked their impressive progression, now feels the right time to come back into the industry and work with them to push REIM forward to where they want to be.
“Everything is here and their entrepreneurial approach makes them an exciting proposition, my role is a make sure everyone is aware that REIM want to work with you and will do everything they can to make your deal work.”
Also commenting on Simon’s appointment, Kunal Vaitha, principal at REIM Capital, added: “Simon’s extensive background in the financial industry, including his experience managing a successful bridging brokerage, positions him well to drive further growth at REIM Capital.
“Kunal highlighted that Simon’s track record of building strong client relationships and his leadership in sales will be instrumental in expanding the company’s distribution network and continuing its momentum in the specialist lending sector.”
