Jacob brings experience in property credit risk, underwriting, and portfolio management, previously holding the role of head of transactions at Hilltop Capital Partners.
In his new position, Jacob will lead the firm’s credit function.
His appointment follows the recent hire of Greg Tarn as managing director of origination and execution and the scheduled departure of D’mitri Zaprzala this summer.
Together, Greg and Jacob will oversee Avamore’s day-to-day operations, enabling co-founders Michael Dean and Zuhair Mirza to focus on long-term strategic direction.
Zuhair commented: “Jacob’s appointment reflects our commitment to building a business that balances strong credit discipline with commercial agility.

“I’m looking forward to working with the team to build on that foundation and help shape the next chapter of the business.”
