He joins Morpheus as a non-executive director and plans to transition to group chairman over the coming months as the firm continues to scale.
Gerald brings almost 35 years of experience in the financial services sector, including notably as CEO at Together, as well as Hitachi Capital. His non-executive experience also includes six years on the board of the FCA.

Commenting on his appointment, Gerald said: "I've been following the Morpheus journey since the start and have been incredibly impressed by their new approach to tackle the issues stakeholders face in the mortgage industry.
