The 2026 Power List will recognise the exceptional underwriters who have excelled in collaborating with brokers, successfully underwriting complex deals, and communicating clearly to bring transactions to fruition.

It will highlight individuals who have navigated significant challenges and complexities, showcasing the specific actions they took to overcome obstacles and their strong problem-solving skills. The list will also celebrate measurable results and tangible impacts, demonstrating how their expertise has contributed to advancing deals and supporting growth in the bridging and commercial market.

Submissions are valid for individuals only, not companies. While you can nominate multiple people, self-nominations are limited to one per person.

To nominate an individual, provide a detailed example of why they deserve to be an outstanding underwriter of the year using our simple nomination form.

Your submission should include:

• a detailed description of how the individual collaborates successfully with brokers including their ability underwrite impressive deals and communicate effectively

• the challenges and complexities the nominee faced and specific actions taken by the individual to overcome these, highlighting their knack for problem-solving

• any metrics or results that demonstrate the impact of the individual's talents

We require all responses to be as thorough as possible to emphasise why this individual is unparallel.

The submissions should also come with a high-resolution colour headshot of the nominee to feature in our publication, should the candidate be selected.

The leading submissions will feature in the cover story for the Jan/Feb 2026 issue of B&C Magazine, set to land in mid-February.

How will B&C Magazine decide on who makes it onto the 2026 Power List?

Once submissions close on 9th January 2026, the Medianett Publishing team will review the responses and select the winning entries.

We will consider the underwriters who demonstrate exceptional skill and judgment, taking into account their ability to manage complex deals, apply innovative solutions, deliver timely decisions, and collaborate effectively with brokers across different loan sizes, asset types, and locations.

The successful individuals featured in the 2026 Power List will be deemed confidential until the release of the Jan/Feb issue of the B&C Magazine in February.
