Stephen said that the new brokerage will also consult with other brokers as well as lenders.
He has over a decade of experience in specialist finance, beginning his career as an estate agent before moving on to co-launch bridging and development brokerage Adapt Finance in 2014.
In 2023, Stephen was appointed as COO at AFIG, before becoming a partner at Word On The Street in 2024.

Announcing the launch on LinkedIn, Stephen commented: “I’m proud of the role I played [at Word On The Street] and look forward to seeing the business continue its journey, but now it’s time for my next chapter.
“I’ve been self-employed most of my adult life and fortunate to achieve significant success in this industry, alongside great people and shared wins.
“Now feels like the right moment to step fully into my own space and build something that truly reflects my vision, creating the ultimate specialist property finance brokerage, done entirely my way.”
He added that more details on the brokerage will be revealed in the coming months.
