Stamford Finance strengthens team with two new hires

Stamford Finance is boosting its growing team with two new appointments.

Calypso Cox (pictured above), who joins the lender from Century Capital, has been appointed sales and marketing executive.

Commenting on her appointment, Calypso said: “I was especially drawn to Stamford because I saw huge potential in their offering. I’m excited to be joining a smaller, dynamic team and being an integral part of their growth.

“I’m also looking forward to reconnecting with my broker partners and supporting them throughout the process.”

Meanwhile, David Kitchingman, previously at Mint Property Finance, joins Stamford in the role of portfolio manager.

“I am genuinely delighted to be joining the excellent team at Stamford Finance as we continue to expand our presence in the bridging and development market,” David said.

Peter Beaumont, director at Stamford Finance, commented: “David’s appointment is crucial for us to ensure our existing clients still benefit from our personable approach.

“He will be focusing on ensuring we know exactly what our customers want from us as a lender, and what we are expecting of them. I was delighted when David agreed to join the team as I knew our clients would be in the best hands.”

Calypso, according to Peter, “embodies what we’re trying to build at Stamford.

“She’s a confident and extremely personable individual who I have absolutely no doubt will go on to be a genuine trailblazer in the industry. I’m really pleased she chose to come on board,” he said.
