Project & Co makes three senior promotions following 400% growth in valuation instructions

Project & Co has announced three senior promotions as the firm expands across the UK secured lending market.

Over the past 12 months the firm has experienced a 400% increase in valuation instructions across residential, development and specialist asset classes.

William Bell has been appointed as head of valuation and risk.

With over 15 years of corporate experience, William will lead risk governance, credit engagement and technical oversight across the firm’s valuation outputs.

Sammy Huberman MRICS will step into a broader senior leadership role in the valuation team.

James Buck will lead the continued expansion of the firm’s MyLeasehold division alongside ongoing secured lending work.

With a background as head of asset management for a major institutional landlord, James brings institutional-grade asset management insight into the business.

His experience enhances the firm’s capability across mixed-use portfolios, ground rent investments and complex residential blocks, further broadening the advisory support available to funding partners.

Colin Horton, managing director at Project & Co, commented: “The last 12 months have been transformative.

“Our growth has been driven by lenders who want commercially aware valuers who understand risk, liquidity and exit strategy as much as they understand square footage.

“These promotions are about strengthening governance, not just celebrating performance.

“Funding lines need confidence that their valuation partners understand credit.

“By investing in senior leadership across risk, delivery and asset management, we are building a structure that supports sustainable growth and protects lender capital.”
