Fabio Saporetti, previously at Topland, joins the specialist short-term lender’s underwriting team to support the continued growth of the firm’s credit function.
Commenting on the appointment, Jonathan Hitter, CIO at Blue Shield Capital, said: “As we look ahead to 2026 and a material expansion of our loan book, it is essential that we continue to build depth within our credit team.

The second new hire, Jake Norton, joins the lender’s origination team, bringing with him six years of experience at United Trust Bank.
His focus will be on supporting the firm’s expanding origination activity and developing intermediary relationships.
Blue Shield said that the new appointments will support operations as it prepares for a “significant increase” in its loan book over the coming year.
