A top bridging lender, Blemain Group, has announced that it is relocating after outgrowing their current premises.
The move will see the group moving out of Manchester city centre to a much larger headquarters. Blemain, which employs 340 staff, has been based at Bracken House, Charles Street, for the past 20 years where it occupied all seven floors.
It will relocate on the 10th September 2012 to state-of-the-art facilities at Lake View, Cheadle Royal Business Park, near Stockport. The new HQ has been refurbished and overhauled to provide bespoke accommodation over three floors, offering 60 per cent more space than Blemain's current building and providing room for further growth.
Marc Goldberg, Commercial Director at Blemain Group, commented: “There are many benefits the company will gain by moving to new offices in Cheadle. We currently operate over seven small floors and the new building has three large floors. This will bring operational efficiencies as departments are more appropriately aligned to workflows, which will inevitably improve communication benefiting employees and our business partners.
“Building work is currently taking place to refit the offices with the future very much in mind.
“A key decider was ensuring we create a modern environment for our staff and the full refit will do that. It also has ample car parking and is within easy reach from the motorways around Manchester.
“It is a building we are all very proud of and one that reflects our position as one of the longest established, market-leading lenders in the sector. We are all very excited about the whole project and really look forward to working in this wonderful building.”
Marc added: “We’re always looking to expand but the current office space was just too tight for us here. So we are spreading out and keeping space for our future plans.”
