The new position of Underwriting Manager will allow Mint Bridging to further streamline their operations and allow for speedy approvals. New member, Trevor Brown, has 15 years of experience in commercial banking.

Trevor Brown, new Underwriting Manager of Mint Bridging said: “I am delighted to join the team at Mint Bridging. I’ve been really impressed with its ‘can do’ approach to lending and look forward to help build the loan book significantly over the coming months.”

Andrew Lazare, Managing Director of Mint Bridging commented: “We are delighted to have Trevor on board to help develop and enhance our underwriting department.  As a result of continued growth and expansion, this role has become necessary for the company as we are now dealing with a greatly increased level of enquiries.”

“As we underwrite each loan on its own merit, we believe brokers will appreciate the opportunity to speak directly with myself or Trevor on each loan application and to rapidly obtain a firm decision that they can rely upon’’.

Trevor’s professional background includes: 12 years as the Senior Commercial Lending Manager at the Cheshire Building Society and three years at the Chelsea Building Society as the Head of Commercial Lending.

The Underwriting Manager approves each loan in accordance with lending criteria and acts as the point of contact for brokers wanting to discuss new cases. Trevor will form part of Mint Bridging’s in-house credit committee.

The position became active at the start of this week and functions alongside a team of ten based in south Manchester. The team includes Asset Manager Andrew Davies, BDM Danny Power and Operations Manager, Jennifer Lowe.
