Carl Graham, Head of Operations at Bridgebank, has been internally promoted from his post as Business Development Executive this October.
He will be responsible for the management and development of Loan Processing, Underwriting and the Business Development Team. He will act as a point of contact for borrowers and brokers and will swiftly drive business through to completion.
Carl has worked in the financial services industry for around 9 years, including in the specialist lending market. He joined Bridgebank Capital as a BDM in October 2011 and has had experience previously in underwriting.
Speaking about his appointment, Carl said: “The role of Head of Operations has provided me with the opportunity to utilise my knowledge and skills acquired within the Financial Services sector during the last 10 years to provide a level of service that surpasses other lenders.
“My time within this sector has allowed me to understand what is important to brokers and borrowers and to make a difference”.
Bridgebank has been on a recruitment drive in 2013 and now has seven BDMs covering every part of the UK. This makes it one of the most comprehensive sales force teams, with one of the widest breadths of geographical coverage, in the UK bridging industry.
The seventh member of the BDM team joined Bridgebank Capital this week, with the appointment of former independent broker Huw Oddy to cover the South East.
As a new addition, Huw Oddy brings the knowledge he has attained from his experience with property and bridging finance. His background includes National Sales Manager positions at a collection of lenders including Sovereign Finance and Lloyds UDT.
On Huw’s appointment Stephen Woods, Head of Sales at Bridgebank Capital, said: “We are delighted to welcome Huw as a member of the Bridgebank Capital Business Development team. Huw’s knowledge and experience will be an asset to the company and I look forward to working with him going forward”.
Huw said: “I am delighted to join Bridgebank Capital and be involved in the continued growth of the organisation. I look forward to utilising the skills and knowledge I have acquired as a broker within my role, and supporting the network of brokers in the South East.”
The news showcases Bridgebank’s intent on service delivery by way of placing proactivity within the back office function. This is in order to speed up completion times, underwriting and processing.
This dynamic approach to the back office function has seen the lender’s average completion time improve dramatically.
Laurence Goodman, Managing Director of Bridgebank Capital, said: “Carl’s appointment as Head of Operations further demonstrates the commitment that we place on providing the highest levels of service to brokers and borrowers.
“The team at Bridgebank has expanded significantly over the past 12 months, including the appointment of a Head of Sales, a team of Regional Business Development Managers covering the whole of the UK and an office based Business Development Support team.
“In addition, we have a full back office support team headed up by Carl Graham as Head of Operations to ensure that each and every application is progressed through to completion without delay.”
The lender is currently expanding its offices to accommodate for its larger team.
