This month, it has been all about the #IceBucketChallenge - a practice that has gone viral globally, aimed at raising awareness of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).

In other corporate responsibility news, Cardiff-based brokerage Intelligent Loans is supporting Kyle’s Goal, a trust that is raising awareness and funds to build a rehab centre to cater for the needs of children and young adults with brain injuries. Intelligent Loans will be pledging a donation on all loans that complete before November 31st and have a signed Manchester United 2009/2010 shirt to give to one lucky introducer from those loans completed by the cut-off date.   

Fluent Money recently announced that it is supporting Education for the Children (EDTC) as its chosen charity. The organisation works to equip disadvantaged children and young adults in Guatemala with the tools to escape poverty. Fluent Money will be promoting EFTC through a number of fundraising initiatives throughout 2014, in addition to its public endorsement of the charity. 

Tim Wheeldon, Joint Managing Director at Fluent Money Ltd, said: “We’re looking forward to partnering with such a commendable cause. The communities that the EFTC work with have undergone an incredible transformation over a few short years, and we’re thrilled to be a part of the process.” 

The lovely Clare Jupp found time to post this picture of the Sepsis Ball invitation whilst on a cruise with the entire Jupp family. The inaugural event will be held on September 12th at the Waldorf in London and is supporting UK Sepsis Trust.
