Hard to believe that we are on the run in to Christmas and as the last of the H1 results begin to filter in, it’s time to start looking ahead to H2.
There is plenty to look forward to in the industry during the second half of 2015 including conferences, events, award ceremonies and, most importantly, parties.
First on the list is the ASTL conference which will take place on 1st October at Painter’s Hall in London.
The FCA and former cabinet member Vince Cable are just two of the key speakers at the event which will look at the challenges ahead for the bridging industry.
For those in the north of England, the AOBP rolls into Manchester on 13th October with its Northern Broker Event being held at the Midland Hotel.
The event sees a presentation from SimplyBiz who will address the issues on FCA applications and the importance of acting now.
The FP Show is next on the agenda, along with the NACFB AGM, an event which brings pretty much the whole industry together under one roof.
That roof is London’s Olympia which will house over 80 exhibitors to the almost sold out event which saw 1,600 visitors through its doors last year.
As the conference and industry events come to a close towards the end of November, we move into the dinner and party season.
The NACFB Gala Dinner takes place on November 26th at Park Plaza in Westminster and brings the sector together for a prestigious awards ceremony.
From then on as Christmas approaches there will be plenty of office parties as the industry looks to wind down for the holiday period.
However the start of 2015 sees it burst straight back into life with the Loan Talk Awards on 14th January.
This event brings together the secured loans community to honour the great and good, with the top awards always hotly contested.
So, as you can see, there is plenty to look forward to in the upcoming six months and hopefully you will be celebrating the New Year with us!
