p>The NACFB held its biggest ever Gala Dinner last Thursday, when 780 members of the broking community gathered at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel in London.
The event saw performances from musical act The Blondettes as well as a stand-up routine from comedian and actor Omid Djalili.
The evening was brought to a close when the NACFB presented a number of industry lender awards including an accolade for Outstanding Contribution to the Asset Finance Industry.
“This night was a chance to look back with some pride, not just at the past year, but at everything that’s happened over the past 18 months of regulation,” said Adam Tyler, CEO of the NACFB.
“It’s been a period of adapting to change and the figures show our members and patrons have thrived – this evening was for them.”
There was also an auction held on behalf of CP Sport, the sports organisation for people with cerebral palsy, which raised £15,747.
