Aldermore reveals new COO

Challenger bank Aldermore Group has announced a number of changes to its executive team, which includes the appointment of a new chief operating officer (COO).

Former RenaissanceRe chief information officer (CIO) Dana Cuffe has replaced Paul Myers as COO, who will now become group corporate development director, while Christine Palmer joined as chief risk officer in April.

Phillip Monks, CEO of Aldermore Bank, said: “The executive changes we have announced will further deepen the expertise of our leadership team and drive the Bank’s future growth aspirations.

“Dana and Christine join the Bank at an exciting time, as we look to build on our track record of strong profitable growth.

“Paul is a founding father of the Bank and his commitment and expertise has played a significant role in Aldermore’s success.”

Paul’s appointment follows the departure of former group strategy and marketing director Vicki Harris, who left to pursue new opportunities.

New COO Dana spent three years as CIO of Egg, where he was responsible for revamping the world’s largest online bank.

Meanwhile, Christine joined Aldermore from RBS, holding a number of senior risk roles for the past 13 years.

Phillip added: “All three bring extensive experience to their new roles and I’m delighted that they have chosen to be part of Aldermore’s future.”
