The rebrand follows news that the fund enjoyed a busy July in terms of origination, with loans being proposed from five different platforms.
European loan exposure also increased marginally with two new facilities being taken up by a logistics company and a computer consultancy firm in Spain.
GLI Alternative Finance is a closed end fund that focuses on a loan portfolio comprising no more than 70% UK assets across a variety of asset classes and durations.
The fund invests in a range of loans originated principally through the platforms in which GLI Finance holds equity investments.
GLI Finance’s alternative lending platforms include FundingKnight and Platform Black.
Earlier this month, Platform Black also revealed plans to rebrand, following further investment from one of its majority shareholders
