Recently, Philip joined Hampshire Trust Bank as credit operations director before announcing his departure last week.
He said: “After a short tenure, today will be my last day working with Hampshire Trust Bank.
“I want to thank Neil Leitch, Charles McDowell, and the executive team for the opportunity and the development finance team for being so welcoming during my short time with them.

“HTB is an excellent business with a truly fantastic culture, and I will be sorry not to be part of its undoubted continued success.”
In a post on LinkedIn, Philip commented: “I am thrilled to announce that I have accepted the opportunity to represent 1Sharpe Capital in the UK.
“1Sharpe has been a leading provider of funding to the UK specialist finance market for many years, but to date, has done so without any formal UK-based operations.
“I am therefore very excited to be spearheading our growth in a core market, UK development and bridging finance, and look forward to working alongside our current and future lending partners.”
