Jake began his career at Norton in administration, before moving into underwriting and now stepping into his new role within the lending team.
As a telephone BDM, Jake will be a dedicated point of contact for brokers, providing case updates, guidance on criteria, and help navigating complex scenarios.
The move follows the appointment of Amy Husband as head of operations in June.
David Binney, head of sales at Norton Home Loans, said: “Jake’s progression through the business is a great example of the value of internal development.

“He’s grown his knowledge of both the operational and lending sides of Norton and now brings that experience into a role that’s all about relationships.
“Brokers will benefit from his energy, attention to detail and ability to cut through complexity.”
Jake added: “I’ve been lucky to gain experience across different teams at Norton, and that’s given me a real understanding of what matters to brokers and underwriters alike.
“I’m excited to be working more closely with brokers and building longstanding relationships.”
